Buzzi Unicem operates in the country East of the Ural Mountains, with two cement plants: Suchoi Log, located at about 100 km from Yekaterinburg and with a production capacity of 3.6 million tons/year (thereof 1.2 millions ton/year from the dry-process production line commissioned in 2010); Korkino, acquired in 2014, about 40 km South of Chelyabinsk, with a production capacity of 0.7 million tons/year and ample raw material reserves. The total production capacity of the country attains approximately 4.3 million tons/year. 

The cement plants serve the Ural and Western Siberia markets; Suchoi Log’s catalog includes special cements devoted to the oil extraction industry (oil-well cements).
