The cement quality CEM III/B 32,5 N - LH/HS is a Blast Furnace Slag cement of the strength class 32,5 N according to EN 197-1.
Due to the very high blast furnace slag content, this cement quality is a cement "with high sulfate resitance" according to the German and Belgian Cement Standards. It also bears the additional denomination "ES" (Eaux Séléniteuses) according to the French Standard NF P15-319
It consists of clinker, granulated blast furnace slag (approx. 70 %) and calcium sulfate Anhydrite as a retarder.
Main characteristics
The quality CEM III/B 32,5 N –LH/HS is ground to a moderate fineness.
Because of its low heat of hydration, this cement is ideally suited for plateform and mass concrete

The main field of application of the cement quality CEM III/B 32,5 N – LH/HS is in ready mixed concrete with special specifications as low heat of hydration (plateforms, mass concerete)or high sulfate resistance (plateforms or piles in sulfate containing groundwater or soil)
