CEM III/A 52,5 L

Composition

The cement quality CEM III/A 52,5 L is a Blast Furnace cement ground to a very high fineness and correponding to the strength class 52,5 L according to the new European Standard 197-4. It consists of clinker, granulated blast furnace slag (approx. 40 %) and of a mixture of calcium sulfate anhydrite and semi-hydrate as retarder.

Main characteristics

The quality CEM III/A 52,5 L is ground to a very high fineness. Therefore this cement is most suited for the manufacture of high quality concrete and bright coloured fairfaced concrete.

Because of its moderate heat development, this cement can be used as well in summer as in winter concreting.
