The cement quality CEM II/A-S 42,5 N CONFORT A is a Portland Blast Furnace Slag cement of the strength class 42,5 N according to EN 197-1.
It is composed of clinker. granulated blast furnace slag (appr. 15 %)and a mixture of calcium sulfate anhydrite and semi-hydrate as retarder.
Main properties
The cement quality CEM II/A-S 42,5 N CONFORT A is ground to a moderate fineness. Therefore this cement is suited in the manufacture of almost any kind of concrete, from lean to high quality concete.
Because of its medium high heat development, this cement is well suitable also for concrete placing in colder weather conditions.
Fields of application
The main field of application of the CEM II/A-S 42,5 N CONFORT A is in the ready mixed concrete of normal and higher quality.
