The cement quality CEM I 52,5 N is a pure Portland cement of the strength class 52,5 N according to EN 197-1.
It consists of clinker and a mixture of calcium sulfate anhydrite and semi-hydrate as retarder.
Main characteristics
The CEM I 52,5 N is ground to a high fineness. Therefore one can manufature with this cement type concrete which hardens very quickly
The heat development is high, especially during the first day.
Fields of application
The cement quality CEM I 52,5 N is mainly used in the manufacture of precast concrete products and in concrete where very short time for stripping the forms is requested.
