Bulk Cement

Cimalux produces 8 varieties of bulk cement, permanently in stock in the plant. Since January 1, 2005 all the bulk cements produced in the plant in Esch are poor in soluble chromate according to the European directive 2003/53 CE. This means that the content of soluble chromate is under the critical value, which may elicit hypersensitivity in case of direct skin contact .

In order to assure a fast loading, the plant in Esch has a high performance loading device with 11 loading tunnels under the 20 silos which contain the 8 varieties of cement. Cimalux organises also the transport of the bulk cement in cooperation with the transport company ‘Transco’. Upon request, and if the quantity justifies it, Cimalux can study and realize the production of special cements.
