The cement quality CEM III/B 32,5 N - LH/HS is a Blast Furnace Slag cement of the strength class 32,5 N according to EN 197-1
It consists of clinker, granulated blast furnace slag (approx. 70 %) and calcium sulfate Anhydrite as a retarder.
Main characteristics
The quality CEM III/B 32,5 N –LH/HS is ground to a moderate fineness.
Because of its low heat of hydration, this cement is ideally suited for plateform and mass concrete.
Due to the very high blast furnace slag content, this cement quality is a cement "with high sulfate resitance" according to the German and Belgian Cement Standards.
Fields of application
The main field of application of the cement quality CEM III/B 32,5 N – LH/HS is in ready mixed concrete with special specifications as low heat of hydration (plateforms, mass concerete)or high sulfate resistance (plateforms or piles in sulfate containing groundwater or soil)
